Statement of Faith
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes there is only one God; the God of the Holy Bible. Existing as three separate personages; (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), yet one God (eternal, all-knowing, all-seeing, all-loving, all-powerful and Holy).
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that God has revealed Himself to us through the testimony of the Bible, the coming of Jesus Christ, and the testimony of truth found in our lives. All truth is God's truth and "Arizona Christian Wheelers" rejoices every time we experience a truth that reveals the glory of God.
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that our enemies are sin, the flesh, and the devil. These enemies and our human nature contributed to our fall into sin and the breaking of man’s relationship with God.
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that the term "sin" means our rebellion against God in whatever form that rebellion may take.
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that all people have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God and only through the redemption of His Son, Jesus Christ, will we be forgiven.
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that God's perfect plan includes salvation of all sinners through His own sacrifice in the person of Jesus Christ; born on earth of a Virgin, lived a sinless life, ministered to all people, performed the miracles attributed to Him, and died on the Cross for our sins, all according to the Scriptures.
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right-hand of the Father, and will eventually return to glory on the day of His choosing.
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that through baptism, followers of Jesus Christ are given the gift of the Holy Spirit to dwell in our bodies as a counselor (John 16:7) and through this surrender of our lives, we will be used by God to fulfill his plan for our lives.
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that God's plan includes sharing this "good news" (of salvation in Jesus Christ) with others in order to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that God is using the church, also called the "Body of Christ," as His primary means of redemption in this world.
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that all those that surrender their lives to Jesus Christ are also part of His Church. We are all called to be a part of the body of believers and never to forsake the local body of Christ.
Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that the Bible is the only direct, infallible, authoritative, word of God.
Finally, Arizona Christian Wheelers believes that on a day of God's own choosing, that Jesus Christ will return to earth to gather His church to Himself. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Romans 14:10) and those who Christ called and has called on earth will be risen up with Him to meet in the air and spend eternity in heaven. |
